My girlfriend and I took another trip to Europe a couple months ago. During our stay in Rome, we visited a no-kill cat shelter known as the Torre Argentina Cat Sanctuary. It was an interesting juxtaposition of cats and ancient ruins.

During one of our walks near our hotel, an orange Roman kitty approached us as we ate our gelato, so we took a few moments to give him a little tourist love.

There's a car I take note of quite often that lives in our office building's parking garage. The car's license plate reads, "CKATGO."

Katherine would have turned 12 today. It's stunning that more than a year has passed. We miss you terribly.
